What is DongneScore?
DongneScore is a data-driven livability scoring platform that answers one simple question: "Is this neighborhood worth living in?"
We analyze official Korean government open data to produce livability scores for all 230+ municipalities (si/gun/gu) across South Korea. Whether you are relocating within Korea, moving from abroad, or simply curious about how different neighborhoods compare, DongneScore gives you an objective, data-backed overview.
Scoring Methodology
Each district is evaluated across four categories. The overall livability score is a weighted average:

| Safety | 35% | Crime rates per capita, based on police incident data |
| Noise | 25% | Environmental noise levels from monitoring stations |
| Traffic | 25% | Traffic accident rates and road safety statistics |
| Amenities | 15% | Density of convenience facilities (shops, restaurants, services) |
Scores range from 0 to 100 for each category. Higher is better. The overall score is computed as:
Overall = Safety x 0.35 + Noise x 0.25 + Traffic x 0.25 + Amenities x 0.15
